My name is Jesse Braun, I am the founding Teacher Librarian at Beverly Vista Middle School in Beverly Hills, California. I have an MLIS from SJSU, and I am a credentialed Teacher Librarian with a supplemental authorization in Computer Concepts and Applications, and a special class authorization in Digital Literacy and Information Theory. I’ve presented at conferences on the topics of school library leadership, technology, and innovation, including The Lead 3.0 Symposium and CUE, and as a collaborating member of the BHUSD technology department I assisted in drafting the Beverly Hills Unified School District Technology Plan on Digital Citizenship.
This year my goal is to work with every BVMS student on their digital literacy skills!
