With the exception of the math department, we tried to make the supplies uniform across the disciplines. Important: As a school, we are working hard to lighten the weight of student backpacks. To that end, we will have students bring ONE three-ring binder in which all paper and notes will be stored for all subjects. Textbooks checked out at the orientation meetings this week should remain at home until May. Teachers have class sets of books in their rooms for student use at school. We will continue to monitor as the semester progresses.
Here are the lists that were presented by each department:
Pencils, pens (at least one red), highlighters (two different colors – one must be yellow), loose leaf paper, dividers, standard size post-it notes, correction tape, an independent reading book.
100 page 3-hole spiral notebook that can be inserted into the binder for science, glue sticks. Some teachers may ask for addition supplies as the year progresses.
Loose leaf paper for binder, pencil pouch, charged laptop every day.
Math supplies will be provided to students on the first day. All students should plan on having a 100 page 3-hole spiral notebook that can be inserted into the binder for math.
