Celeste McDonald
6th Grade Counselor -
I've worked for 24 years in BHUSD as an English teacher and high school counselor. I grew up in southern California and attended Cal State Northridge. I am thrilled and thankful to begin my new adventure this year as the 6th grade counselor at our new BVMS. I love to read, go to the beach, and spend time with my family and friends.
Kristen Hartley
7th Grade Counselor -
I have been a counselor for 5 years, started my career in Palo Alto. My masters is from Chapman University, and I am also an alumni from Cal State Long Beach. I love my job and am so happy to support students in feeling safe and successful while they are at BVMS and beyond.
I am recently married, and we have an adorable Corgi dog named Maverick together. I love to read, go to the beach, hike and listen to music. I also love watching basketball, my favorite team being The Golden State Warriors - go dubs!
Rachel LeGrande
8th Grade Counselor -
This is my 7th year of working as a middle school counselor and I'm so excited for this amazing new opportunity at BVMS! I attended California State University, Long Beach for my BA and University of San Diego for my MA and credential. I grew up in Orange County and enjoy cooking, hiking, and spending time with my family.
