for over 50 years the national PTA Reflections program has boosted student confidence and Success Through access to the Arts and opportunities for recognition of their own work each year over 300000 students pre-k through grade 12 create original works of art inspired by a student selected Reflections theme in the following categories dance choreography Film Production literature music composition Agra fee and visual arts the reflections program also offers a special artist division for students with disabilities Reflections is a tiered Arts recognition program which means winning student artwork from the law GTA level are eligible to move up through their District region Council and state PTA programs to the National level National PTA announces over 200 student winners from across the country each year these students are at awards and prizes and have their artwork exhibited throughout the following year the reflections program was founded on ptas belief that by participating in the art children explore their thoughts feelings and ideas develop artistic literacy and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life support student creativity and the art participate in learn more at pba.org reflections
