7th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip to El Capitan Info Session Details

7th Grade Parents met last Tuesday for a very informative session about the EXCITING 7th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip to El Capitan Canyon near Santa Barbara (Mar 2 - 5). Asst. Principal Josh Stern and Science Teacher Samantha Ickes-Thoreson will be leading with trip organizers WOLF Adventures. Total cost is $520. Deposit of $100 (cash or check made payable to “BV PTA”) and signed Letter of Intent is DUE THIS WEDNESDAY Dec 18. Give your kids an experience they will ALWAYS remember! Students will participate in leadership, outdoor science and teambuilding activities. This resort is an upscale destination with beach access, miles of scenic hiking and quaint modernized cottage cabins. PTA Meeting this Tuesday 9/17 Featuring BVMS Counselors!

Please join us this Tuesday at 8:30am for a special PTA Meeting featuring our 3 amazing BVMS Counselors: Ms. Celeste McDonald (6th Grade), Ms. Kristen Hartley (7th Grade), Ms. Rachel LeGrande (8th Grade). POP into the Library at 8am to meet your child's counselor in person and learn about all important resources that you and your child can access to support a successful year ahead!

7th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip to El Capitan - Parent Info Meeting on Dec. 10 @ 6pm

7th Grade Parents, please join us on Tuesday Dec. 10 @ 6pm for a special Parent Info Meeting to review details about the 7th Grade Outdoor Ed Trip to El Capitan (March 2 - 5) in the BVMS Auditorium. We will be discussing the many fabulous activities of the trip: The Cost and payment schedule, Recommended items for packing, Community service requirements. We will also have a representative from WOLF Adventures, the organization that runs the trip. Please remember that all students must have 10 hours of community service in order to qualify to go. Annual Feed The Hungry Event on Dec 24th at Hawthorne

BHUSD Families and Friends join us for the Annual Feed The Hungry Event on Tuesday, December 24 at 10am in the Hawthorne School Cafeteria. Volunteer together to make sandwiches, package toiletry bags, decorate holiday cards and fill bags with lunches to distribute to those in need.
