About Me

Hello!  Welcome to the new school year!

I want to take a moment to introduce myself, give you some brief information about the class.  I went to UCLA for undergraduate and graduate school, GO BRUINS! Before teaching, I worked in UCLA’s Biomedical Engineering department doing research with a focus on cancer cell transfection.  I have a huge interest in everything pertaining to science. Outside of school, I am a video game fanatic!  Last year, I had my daughter, Ashlee and taking care of her has taken priority over video games. I have two dogs named Lilo and Stitch and two rabbits, named Earl Gray and Bunny.   I love being in nature: at the beach, camping, hiking, snowboarding, anyway that I can get outdoors!  I have been teaching since 2008 and I’m excited to meet you all.
