Ms. Croft English Support

 

My name is Ms. Croft, and I am thrilled to be returning to BVMS as the English Support and Intervention teacher and Mock Trial Coach. I am also excited to announce I will be partnering with three other educators to bring a brand-new program to BVMS Students- Core Academy!

 

In Core Academy, students will develop study skills, work habits and other school-to-life skills. In English Support, students receive targeted supplemental instruction in order to build grade-level-specific reading and writing skills. 

 

To share a bit about myself, I graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor's degree in English, and the University of Southern California with a master's degree in Teaching. I grew up in Illinois, but moved to sunny San Diego with my family as a teenager. Outside of the classroom I love to hike and read, and have quite the collection of plants at home. Inside the classroom, I encourage positivity and patience, and enjoy collaboration and community-building. My favorite part of teaching is watching students achieve and surpass the goals they set for themselves! I am beyond excited to be returning to the Bulldog family this year, and I look forward to watching my new (and returning) students excel.

 

Assignments will be posted to Google Classroom, and grades will be updated on Aeries regularly. Please see your student's Google Classroom for a copy of the classroom syllabus, materials list and parent welcome letter, and do not hesitate to email me with questions. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
