hello everyone I missed your lascaux one of the art teachers here Beverly Vista Middle School talk to you about some of the classes you can sign up for intake with me here we go welcome to animation everybody we offer animation photo ceramic Advance Auto in advance start income sixth graders to Beverly Vista Middle School are only allowed to start with animation beginning photo or beginning are because the event are semester-long classes they can take animation in the spring and be ignored in the fall or begin yard in the fall beginning phone you can mix and match because they are semester-long classes 7th and 8th graders can also take the rim and then I also had an start but once again to take advanced the party had to be taken beginning art the project will be working on in the class or a flippant or sister to frame short animation that flips back and forth these are a few examples that past units have done we also do squash and stretch which is a characteristic of Animation where it's washes when it falls down and stretches of reaching the bottom as well these are just a few of the got animation technique video walks walk cycle now it looks like it's a significant amount of drawing power it is only eight drawings these walks like you'll notice we do a lot of hand drawing in the classes hand drawing we also do digital art animation as well as stop motion animation in the past as well so if you like to draw this is the class for you are we do flip up so we shouldn't have given a binder clip as well as a pack of beer and a creative small short story they draw out and it was straight and eventually Stillman in a flipbook Style once again these are some past student examples we do claymation so we do a version of claymation of stop motion animation where you build characters from scratch and play design set you guys use a tripod and mount them and then going till them moving small moments movements at a time like they're they're moving in real life we do real object animation Cibrian things like Legos GI Joes toys dolls I'm you can bring in like we see here we see em the Oreos about digital animation so these are some digital animation that passed units are done so each student is given a light box and an iPad animation with these you can add audio like you heard that person added audio to the others these were all hand drawn on the iPad there will be a final in this class has choice-based to get to choose what material medium you want to do hand drawn digital or stop motion song. paper and I got people do things to dry erase boards but the possibilities are endless so I hope you enjoyed his presentation if you're interested in joining the spot I will see you on next semester
